Hi Everyone,
Let me start by saying, I hope you all had a fun Super Bowl Sunday....I hope your team came out on top!!!!! Now, I started last weeks newsletter buy putting out a question..."What part of the Super Bowl are you looking forward to most?" I will say now that this was overall one of the best Super Bowls I can remeber. The game was great, except for the blackout of course, the commercials were awesome and Beyonce`did an amazing job during the half time show. I'd like to thank Jerry Maxwell for his response to my question, here's what he said....
My choices in this order: Game, cheer leaders, advertisements.

I'll post some of my favorite commercials from the game on our FACEBOOK Fan Page. I'd love to hear from you all, please comment on our fan page what your favorite Super Bowl commercial was. I'd like to give you some info on a couple of local shows and the dates for their show season for 2013.
Bob's Big Boy at 3521 Hamner Ave, Norco has a monthly car show. I would strongly recommend this as a great venue if you are looking to start participating in car shows. Their show is open to all pre-1980 Classic, Muscle Cars and Hot Rods. Their next show will be on Monday February 18 (President's Day) from 2pm-5pm. I will tell you all, their shows are really a lot of fun, this show will feature an Elvis impersonator who will be performing during the show. And of course, while you're there you've got to stop inside and grab one of those famous Bob's Big Boy burgers and shakes. This is also a very family friendly environment, so bring the kiddies, they'll have a blast. Some of the other shows I would like to highlight for their season for you would be
July is their Pin Up Contest.
August they have Hot Wheel Races
Oct. is a Halloween show
Nov. is a charity show for needy seniors and Foster Care Childern with SANTA
Next I'd like to let you know the show season schedule for the Twilight Cruise Nights at the NHRA Museum here at the Fairplex in Pomona. One of the most exciting Street Rod, Hot Rod, and Muscle Car events in Southern California, held the first Wednesday of every month from 4pm-8pm begins April 3. Twilight Cruise admission is free, and all in attendance may visit the Museum at no charge. Some of the highlights for their upcoming season are
June 5 is Ladies Night
No Cruise in September due to the LA County Fair
December 4 is their annual toy drive, bring an unwrapped toy for less fortunate kids in the Pomona Valley.
I will have more info on their shows as their season opner gets closer, but if you'd like to see some videos from last year you can go totheir website at www.museum.nhra.com
