Hi Everyone,
I have been away for a few weeks, but I'm back now.....Did you miss me????
Well, let's catch up for a moment....The San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers are in the World Series..who expected that, the Basketball season starts in a week..who's excited for the "new" Lakers, the Football season is half over..REALLY???, and the weather has taken quite a nice turn..thank goodness.
OK, let's get down to business, we've got some great car shows coming up this weekend..Let's take a look.
On Saturday Oct 27 is the 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch Classic Car Show at Heritage Park in La Verne from 10am-3pm. This is a great show to take the whole family to, not only will there be a great car show which is open to Pre-1975 Cars and Trucks but also wagon rides, face painting, food, live music and of course a pumpkin patch so you can get that perfect Jack-O-Lantern. On Saturday Oct 27 is the Fall Harvest Cruise 2012 at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 12pm-4pm. This show is open to all 1978 and Older Cars, Trucks, Classics, Street Rods and Imports. The show is hosted by the Golden West Car Club. They are good friends of The Speed Shop and you can read about them on our website at www.caeperformance.com or you can check them out at www.goldenwestcarclub.com We are also a proud sponsor of this car show which is a charity fund-raiser for the Museum, so please come out and support the NHRA Museum.
On Sunday Oct 28 is the 27th Annual Memorial Park Car Show presented by the Baldy View Regional Group #88, this club is good friends of The Speed Shop and you can see them on our website also. The show will be held at Upland Memorial Park from 8am-2pm and is open to all Pre-1980 Cars, Trucks and Street Rods.
I forgot to include this show in my newsletter so I wanted to get the word out.
On Saturday Oct 27 is the Bob's Big Boy Car Show in Norco at 33521 Hamner Ave. This show will be a "spooky" good time for the whole family.
They will have a group dancing to Thriller & doing line dancing to the Monster Mash !!!
That will be fun :) A lot of the cars decorate, and the crew inside will be dressing up. It's a Fun Halloween Party.
