April 5th Newsletter

  Hi Everyone,

Let's see, eggs dyed..check, baskets filled..check, chocolate bunnies bought..check, ham in the fridge..check....ok, I'm ready for Easter. Are you? I do hope the weather holds up long enough for all those egg hunts this Sunday. If you're looking for something to do on Satuerday before all of the Easter festivities on Sunday start, I've got a really good one for you.

On Saturday April 7 is the Cool Cruise in Old Town La Verne from 9am - 4pm. The show has a new promoter this year so I'm sure we'll see some changes, but it will also be the same great show that we all look forward to. To get all the info on this show go to their website at Now here are some other shows that are going on in April, and some to save-the-date for in May.

On Sunday April 15 (after you file your taxes) you can go out to Chaffey College's 4th Annual Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show in Rancho Cucamonga from 10am - 12pm. The majority of the proceeds from this show will go to help fund Chaffey College Student book grants and scholarships. If you are interested in showing your car in the show you can contact Sherm at (909) 652-6860 or email their car club at On Sunday April 29 is the Bob's Big Boy 4th Annual Spring Break Out Cruise from 4pm - 7pm at 3521 Hamner Ave, Norco. Check out 200 of Southern California's best local Classics, Hot Rods, Street Machines, and Customs come together to kick off the Spring cruising season. And be sure to get one of Bob's famous burgers and chocolate shakes while you're there.

On Wednesday May 2 is the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 4pm - 8pm. All spectators to the cruise get free admission to the museum during the show. For more details and the dates for their cruise season you can check out their website at Over the weekend of May 4 - 6 is the huge Riverside Show and Go in Downtown Riverside. On Friday May 4 from 4pm - 10pm will be a cruise and BBQ from 6pm - 10pm. Saturday May 5 from 7am - 5pm, the day will feature the show & go car show and also include a pancake breakfast from 7am - 10am, the Grand Marshall Parade at 10:30am, an open header cruise from 11am - 4pm and an open header contest from 3pm - 4pm. And the event wraps up on Sunday May 5 from 8am - 2pm with the Winners Parade. For a complete run down of the events schedule you can check out their website at

Also, just a reminder, the Highland Avenue Auto Show in Rancho Cucamonga that was originally scheduled for March 17 but was postponed due to rain, will be held on Saturday May 5 at the Highland Avenue Church at 9944 Highland Ave, from 9am - 2pm. Check out their site at
