April 11th Newsletter

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter, spent with family and friends. And of course lots of good food. I'd like to recap some of the shows happening in April and then take a look at what we've got coming up in May. And if you know of a show that you'd like to have me include in my weekly newsletter, please email me with all of the details at On Sunday April 15 is Chaffey College's 4th Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show in Rancho Cucamonga from 10am - 12pm. On Sunday April 22 is the 27th Annual Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knott's Berry Farm from 10am - 3pm. Come out and celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Cougar, the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra and the 80th Anniversary of the '32 Ford V8. For all the details on this event you can go to their website at On April 29 is the Bob's Big Boy 4th Annual Spring Break Out Cruise from 4pm - 7pm at 3521 Hamner Ave in Norco. On Wednesday May 2 is the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 4pm - 8pm. You can see their entire 2012 cruise schedule at Over the weekend of May 4 - 6 is the huge Riverside Show & Go in Downtown Riverside. For all the details of the weekends events you can go to their website at On May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) is the HIghlamd Avenue Auto Show, which was originally scheduled in March but was postponed due to rain, from 9am - 2pm in Rancho Cucamonga at 9944 Highland Ave. For more information you can go to their website at

On May 12 is the 6thTractor & Car Show and Strawberry Festival at Cal Poly Pomona from 10am - 3pm. This show is a lot of fun for the whole family, with horse rides, face painting, a petting zoo, and tractor rides for the kids and antique farming equipment display, a farmer's market, food, vendors and live music for everyone. The Car & Tractor will feature Customs, Antiques, Classics, Muscles, Street Rods, Special Interest, Motorcycles and Tractors. And for the strawberry festival you can pick your own strawberries from the patch, enjoy lots of strawberry covered food and even take a jar of fresh strawberry jam.
