Hi Everyone,
So it is really starting to look a little spooky around here,with witches and jack-o lanterns starting to pop up in fronts yards all around, and the weather gets a little fog in the air after dark. And who doesn't love all those scary movies they play on TV this time of year, I sure do. Just for fun, let's see how many of you are in the Halloween spirit (no pun intended), go to our Facebook page and post on my wall your most favorite scary movie, I put a clip on there of one of my favorite scary flix. Also, if you're in our area on Halloween day, bring your little monster, princess, pirate or super hero by our shop and I'll have some treats for them, and if they come in costume they'll get there picture up on our site. Now let's look at what shows we've got coming up.
On Sat Oct 29th the Golden West Chevelles and El Caminos club presents Fall Harvest Cruise 2011 at the NHRA Motorsports Museum at the Fairplex in Pomona from 12noon - 4pm. This is a great show and now at this new location will make it even better, be sure to take a tour of the museum while you're there.
On Sat Oct 29th is the 9th Annual Pumpkin Patch Classic Car Show at Heritage Park in La Verne from 10am - 3pm. This show is a lot of fun for the whole family, with great food, live music and wagon rides, and of course the pumpkin patch, if you haven't picked out that perfect pumpkin for carving be sure to look here.
On Sat Oct 29th is the Bob's Big Boy Spooktacular Halloween Classic Car Show at 3521 Hamner Ave in Norco from 3pm - 6pm, don't miss the pie walk, YUMMY!!!!!
On Sat Oct 29th the Inland Empire Classic Mustang Club presents The Arthritis Foundation Car Show and Golf Tournament at Cresta Verde Golf Course, 1295 Cresta Rd, Corona 92879 from 10am - 4pm. I have someone very close to me who is living with arthritis, and if you or anyone you know is also suffering you will realize how important it is to keep the research going for treatments and medications that will help them live a full and pain free life.
On Sun Oct 30th is the 26th Annual Memorial Park Car Show presented by the Baldy View Regional Group #88 in Upland from 8am - 2pm, this show is open to all Pre-1980 Cars, Trucks and Street Rods and will feature plenty of food, refreshments and door prizes.
If you are looking to take a little trip the weekend of Oct 28th - 30th you can head out to the Tropicana Resort in Laughlin, NV for their Halloween Haunt & Glow Car Show. Friday the show starts at 1pm and the light show begins at 6pm. Sat the show starts at 9am - 7pm with a costume contest at 6pm. And Sun the awards begin at 10am.
