Hi Everyone,
OK...has everyone recovered from Memorial weekend? Or are you one of the smart ones that decided to take your holiday this weekend so you didn't have to fight the crowds everywhere? Either way, I've got some great events for you if you're looking for something to do this coming weekend.
On Sat June 11th will be a "filling" I'm mean a thrilling event at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, The Orange County BBQ Festival & 4th Annual Car Show from 11am - 6pm. The event will feature beer sampling hosted by local breweries, the state championship BBQ Competition, the People's Choice BBQ Cookoff where you get to be the judge, an awesome kids zone, live music and entertainment, come hungry and enter the rib eating contest, or enter the Mr BBQ Pageant, and don't miss the butterfly release ceremony at noon.
Also on Sat June 11th is the 17th Annual Inland Valley Street Rods Rally and Cruise in downtown Ontario on Euclid Ave from 7am - 4pm. This is a huge event featuring all day cruising, food & entertainment, an open header cruise form noon - 1pm, an open header contest at 1pm at C Street, and live music performed by The Answer. The show is open to Pre-1975 cars & trucks, Antiques, Muscle Cars, Classics, and Special Interest Vehicles and also any year Harley Davidson.
Also, just a reminder of things happening this weekend.
On Sat June 4th is the Friends of Steve McQueen event at 3493 Grand Ave in Chino Hills from 9am - 2pm and on Sat June 4th is the NHRA Street Legal Drags at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, gates open at 6am with racing starting at 9am.
On Sun June 5th the Oldskool 66 Cruzers present a Car Show to benefit Smile Train, held at Upland Memorial Park from 9am - 1pm and on Sun June 5th is the 19th Annual Buicks at Bates Nut Farm presented by the Buick Grand National Club from 8am - 3pm located at 15954 Woods Valley Rd, Valley Center, 92082.
