July 8th Newsletter

  Hi Everyone,

So how are you liking this heat wave???? If you're like me you're not liking it at all!!!!! I hope you all had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend, and now that we've got summer in full swing let's see I can give you to do between the BBQ's and baseball games.

On Sat July 16th is the NHRA Street Legal Drags at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, this will be a twilight event with racing from 2pm - 10pm, the cost is $10 for spectators and $20 to race your own car. On Sat July 16th the City of Glendale presents The 18th Annual Cruise Night "In The Heart Of Glendale On Brand Blvd" from 5:30pm - 10:30pm, this event is open to Pre 1979 cars only. On Sat July 16th is the 3rd Annual Surf City Car Show from 9am - 1pm at 7711 Talbert Ave in Huntington Beach. This show is open to all Classic, Late Model, Exotic, Hot Rods, Street Rods, and Race Cars.

On Sun July 17th is the 7th Annual Rock N Roll Car Show Tour the Rock-Ola Jukebox Factory, "the only Jukebox still made in America since 1934, from 10am - 2pm at 2335 208th Street, Torrance, 90501. The show is open to all makes and models of American made Antiques, Customs, Hot Rods, Street Rods, Classics, and Modern Muscle Cars. So there are some ideas for your upcoming weekend, in case you have some free time on your hands. Also, it was brought to my attention that I have give the wrong dates for the Summit Racing Series in Fontana for this weekend, so I would advise if you were planning to go to that event please refer to their website ay www.autoclubspeedway.com for the schedule of events for this weekend.

I would also like to bring up an opportunity to anyone who might be interested in being a vendor at a car show but doesn't know how to go about it. There is a car show coming up on Oct 15th in Chino, it is The 2nd Annual Car & Bike Show put on by Boy Scout Troop 309 from Chino and they are looking for vendors for their event, I have the forms and information you need if you would like to participate with either a merchandise booth, food booth, or a non-profit booth. I would also say that if you are wanting to display your car, motorcycle or truck in a show this might be just the place to get started. You can contact Michael Rosas at www.troop309chino.com for any event information you may need.

If you are putting on a car show or are involved in a car club and would like to have me include you and your event in my newsletter, please email me with all of you info at caeperformance@aol.com or call me at (909)596-9146 M - F 10am - 5pm. Have a great weekend!!!!!
