Hi Everyone,
So here we come to last part of July and August is right around the corner, I've got some great shows to close out July and some shows to get you ready for coming in August, so let's get started.
On Sat July 30th the Norco Bob's Big Boy presents "Summer Rod Run" from 5pm - 8pm. On Sat July 30 the California Historic Route 66 Association presents Cucamonga Classics Route 66 Car Show at The Magic Lamp Inn, 8189 Foothill Blvd in Rancho Cucamonga from 10am - 2pm, with all Pre 1975's welcome.
On Sun July 31st is the 18th Annual San Dimas Shine It! Show It! Cruise It! presented by the San Dimas Sheriff's Booster Club. The show is from 9am - 3pm and starts at 8:30am with a cruise through Downtown San Dimas on Bonita Ave. Car categories for the event will be Antiques, Street Rods, Classics, Special Interest, Full Size Trucks, and Motorcycles. Also live music performed by the IMPULSE band. Also Sun July 31st is the 2nd Annual Rods & Riders Car Show at the Chino Fairgrounds from 10am - 5 pm, admission is $10 per person.
And coming in August,
On Wed Aug 3rd is the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 4pm - 8pm, with a second show on Wed Aug 24th ( no show in Sept due to the L A County Fair).
Also Wed Aug 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st the Norco Bob's Big Boy presents the 2nd Annual Hot Rod Summer Nights Series from 5pm - 8pm.
On Sat Aug 6th is the NHRA Street Legal Drags at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, gates open at 6am and admission for spectators is $10 and $20 if you want to race your own car.
The weekend of Aug 13th - Aug 14th is Fun Run 2011 at Big Bear Lake. On Sat the days event will include VBA raffles and an engine raffle, and Sun will include the "Cruise Around The Lake" starting at 3:45pm.
On Fri Aug 19th Richard Hibbard Chevrolte presents Twilight Car Show and Movie Night, the car show starts at 5pm and the iconic movie "American Graffiti" will be showing at 8:15, projected onto a 16 foot screen.
The weekend of Aug 19th - Aug 21st is the Inland Empire Auto Show at the Ontario Convention Center. On Fri Aug 19th experience Great Taste Friday and sample food and wine from over 20 of the Inland Empires best restaurants and wineries from 5pm - 8pm, admission to this is FREE with paid show admission. Chrysler & GM will be participating in this years Ride & Drive program, where you will have the chance to take your favorite Chrysler or GM for a test drive on a special driving route near the convention center. The new Chevy Volt and Fiat 500 will also be available for test drives. And Sun is Family Day at the show and will feature the Make-A-Wish Kid Zone from 10a - 5pm, the Fun Zone is FREE with paid show admission.
On Sat Aug 20th is the 17th Annual Mountain Classic Car Show in Wrightwood from 10am - 4pm and will feature a vendor village, live music, open header contest, "Pit Alley", Pinewood Derby and Trike Drags for Adults and Kids.
On Sat Aug 27th is the 9th Annual Corn Feed Run Car Show & Cruise at Chino City Hall from 8am - 3pm, and features food, music, vendors and crafts, and an open header contest from 1am - 2pm. This show is a great family event with a lot for everyone. On Sat Aug 27th is the 2nd Annual Brass Pro Shops Classic Car Show from 9am - 3pm.
