Hi Everyone,
Well, I hope you all are have a great start to your new year, if you're anything like me you're still writing 2010 all over everything, I'm sure by June I'll remember what year it is. I know if you're a football fan this weekend will be filled with playoff games, or maybe you're a snow person and you'll be heading up to hit the slopes, but if you're looking for something else to do this weekend I do have a pretty exciting event for you. On Sat & Sun Jan 15th & 16th the Auto Club Raceway in Fontana is holding race #1 & #2 in the NHRA Summit ET Series, for more details call (800) 944-RACE.
It is a pretty light weekend, but I am expecting things to start picking up very soon. Now on a side note, if any of you have attended the monthly Cruise Night in downtown Claremont at the Village Grille, than you know that there was a lot of talk back in Oct that this would be their last season, well I just got word that on Tues Jan 11th there will be a meeting at Claremont City Council at 7pm to discuss the future of the event and to work out details for is to continue. This event has been going on for a very long time and it would be a shame if it did not go on, I think it would mean a lot to their cause if a lot of cruise enthusiasts showed up and were able to give the event a face and a voice. So if you are available please try and make it out .
