Hi Everyone,
So we're closing out January and welcoming February...WOW...1 month down already??!! Wasn't it just Christmas last week?? But wait..what do I smell...OH, love is in the air. Hearts and flowers and exhaust systems and carburaters, everything that says "I Love You". And of course we have THE BIG GAME coming this weekend, have you hung that team flag in front of your house yet?
Well the coming weekends events are a little light, I think due to the Super Bowl, but here's a couple of things that I found that might be of interest. A reminder to everyone, we've got the Grand National Roadster Show going on this weekend at the Fairplex in Pomona, running Sat Jan 29th 10am - 9pm, and Sun Jan 30th 10am - 7pm.
This is a huge event and showcases some of the most beautiful cars that I've ever seen, if you can make it out there, please do it. Also, it's not too late to register your car for the 4th Annual Blue Diamond Brigade Car Show held at Norco High School and sponsored by WOT Performance. The show will be held on Sat Feb 19th from 11am - 3pm.
Now coming up on Sat Feb 5th is the 8th Annual CARe Show at Capistrano Sports Park at 25925 Camino Del Avion @ Del Obispo in San Juan Capistrano from 8am - 2pm. Proceeds from the show will go to benefit Capistrano CARE Animal Rescue Effort, and will feature live music, food, refreshments, vendors and exhibits. On Sun Feb 6th the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana will hold the Summit ET Series race 3.
Also I'd like to share with you all, you probably remember me writing about the monthly cruise night held in downtown Claremont that was in jeopardy of ending after several years. Well it seems after so discussion with the Claremont City Council by a dedicated group hoping to save it, there may be some resolutions coming to the situation and the show may not be ending after all. I would like to thank Kerry for keeping me in the loop so that I can keep you all informed. Well I hope you all enjoy this early Springtime weather and find time to get outside and take it in.
