Hi Everyone,
WOW, August sure let us know it was here, with the temp hitting around 100 degrees.....ENOUGH!!!!! I don't know about you, but I am so ready for Autumn. So let me see if I can give you some "cool" shows to attend this coming weekend.
The weekend of Aug 13th and 14th is the Big Bear Fun Run 2011, with a huge car show and a cruise around the lake on Sun afternoon. It is quite a sight to see, all these classic cars cruising up the mountain through the pine trees and bright blue skies, and of course the weather is much cooler up there.
I am also so happy to be able to say, on Sat Aug 13th is the Village Grille Cruise Night from 5pm - 8:30pm, and if any of you know what has gone on in an attempt to keep this show alive, you'll understand.
I also want to remind you about the Friday Night Cruise at Ruby's Diner in Whittier. It is held every Fri night from 5pm - 8:30pm and it's open to all Pre 1975 Hot Rods, Street Rods, Classics, Customs, Trucks, and "Get-R-Done" American Cars. This is a FREE event to show your car, and this is a family friendly event, so bring the kids, enjoy a fun show and grab some good food.
Also the next show in the Norco Bob's Big Boy Hot Rod Summer Nights Series is Wed Aug 17th from 5pm - 8pm.

We are also very happy to support our local car clubs, so if you are in a club or are thinking about starting a new club and would like to reach potential members, we have an entire page dedicated to CAR CLUBS and would be happy to add you and to blast out in a newsletter all about your club, so you can contact me and I'll let you know what info I'll need.
