Hi Everyone,
Well from the weather the last few days it seems like we've skipped right over Spring into Summer. A perfect weekend for some outdoor activities, and a chance to get some sun on our pale complexions after being shut up indoors for so long. So let me start with a reminder of some events going on this weekend.
The Goodguys Del Mar Nationals at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is Sat April 2nd and Sun April 3rd. This is a huge show with so many amazing cars, and a great location, just a short drive away is a great stretch of beach.
The return of the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum is Wed April 6th from 4pm - 8pm.
Now for what's coming up next weekend. The Formula Drift 2011 Championship invades the Long Beach Grand Prix street course on Fri April 8th and Sat April 9th. On Sun April 10th is the 26th Annual Fabulous Fords Forever at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park from 10am - 3pm. This is an exhibition of Fantastic Fords from 1903 - 2011, 52 classes, spectators to the car show are free. But while you're there why not stop into the park for an afternoon of FUN. And for the first 15 people who come in and mention this newsletter to me, I've got some special discount coupons for Knott's Berry Farm park good for the remainder of 2011.
On Sun April 10th is the 3rd Annual Chaffey College Car Show at 5885 Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamunga. The show will include Lowriders, Motorcycles, Muscle Cars, Customs, Trucks, Street Rods and newer cars as well. There will also be food and refreshments.
Now that the weather is warming up, our minds are also turning to boating, so remember we also have you covered there, anything you need for your boat be sure to give us a call
Also, we love to promote local car clubs, we have a section dedicated to CAR CLUBS, so if you want to have your club featured on our site contact me and I'll get all the info and get you up there.
And now, this is no April Fool's joke, we have one more drawing in our Luck O' the Irish promotion, my little leprecahn has left me until next year so I'll draw a name myself...and the winner is.....Paul Carroll.
