Hi Everyone,
Happy Halloween Eve to all you boys and ghouls, here's hoping you get only treats and no tricks, and all you Jack-O-Lanterns are smiling. Here's some of the shows coming up, and don't forget to "fall back" on Saturday Nov 6th when Daylight Savings Time ends. First, on Wed Nov 3rd is the monthly NHRA Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum at the Pomona Fairplex from 4pm - 8pm. On Sat Nov 6th is the 4th Annual Tom's Farm Cruise HHR Show at 23900 Temescal Canyon Rd in Corona from 10am - 2pm. If you've never been to Tom's Farm I would suggest going to this show and them taking a walk around the area, there is plenty of great places to eat and shop, and be sure to make a pit stop into the wine tasting building, that will make your trip well worth it. On Sat Nov 6th is the Cruising for the Kids Car Show at the Bob's Big Boy on Hamner in Norco from 1pm - 6pm, this show should be fun for the whole family with a special appearance from Santa. On Sat Nov 6th come out to the Flabob Airport at 4130 Mennes in Riverside for their monthly Fly & Drive Show from 9am - 12pm. This is a car show for all Classics, Hot Rods and Trucks and also features Antique and Experimental Aircraft, and this year the will be holding their 1st Annual Toy Drive, and while you're there be sure to stop into the Flabob Airport Cafe for, what I'm told, is the best breakfast in town. On Sat Nov 6th is the Classic Car Show & 15th Birthday Party at The California Route 66 Museum in Victorville from 10am - 2pm. The show is open to Pre-1975 Cars, Trucks, Vintage Foreigns, any year Corvettes and Motorcycles, and events for the day will also include music, lunch and a museum tour. On Sun Nov 7th the Central Coast Street Rods presents the 38th Annual Nojoqui Falls Fun Run Car Show in Solvang from 9am - 3pm and is open to Classics, Street Rods, Antiques and Trucks and the day will also feature a 50/50 raffle, prizes and a BBQ. So they you go, a little light on show this coming weekend but always remember if you know of an event happening please email me the shows info and I'll send out a special blast to everyone so they can attend. Also just a reminder we will have Gift Certificates available starting Mon Nov 1st to help you buy for the car enthusiast in your life for the Holidays, and they are much easier to wrap than an exhaust system and fit better in a stocking than a carburetor.
