  Hi Everyone,

I hope your Thanksgiving celebrations where great and hopefully you're all coming out of your turkey comas and looking for something to do, so I'll give you some great shows to go and check out. Now that we are entering Dec and counting down the days until Christmas let's never forget that there are people less fortunate than ourselves out there and a lot of these Dec shows hold toy drives to make sure every child wakes up on Christmas morning with something under their tree, so while you marvel at these exceptional cars make sure to drop off a toy as well, because no chrome or bright paint job shines brighter than a childs' smile. Let's start with the Wed Dec 1st Twilight Cruise Night at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 4pm - 8pm, this will be their last cruise night until April 2011 and the museum will be holding their annual toy drive during this cruise night. On Sat Dec 4th the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana will hold the NHRA Street Legal Drags, gates open at 6am. Spectators are only $10 and you can race your own car there for only $20. On Sat Dec 4th the 12th Annual Christmas on Euclid Show, Shine & Shop will be held along Euclid Ave in Downtown Ontario from 9am - 2pm. The show is open to Muscle Cars (new & old), Street Rods, Classics, Antiques, and Special Interest Cars. There is also plenty of food and fun for the whole family as well as lots of vendors for holiday shopping. On Sat Dec 4th Galaxy Burgers Cruise Nite at 2150 S Archibald Ave in Ontario from 5pm - 9pm. The show is open to all cars & bikes and they are asking for $5 per ride plus a new, unwrapped, non-violent toy for their toy drive. On Sat Dec 4th the Shops at Riverwalk Car Show will be held at 4290 Riverwalk Parkway in Riverside from 2pm - 5pm. On Sun Dec 5th the 4th Annual Antique, Classic, & Hot Rod Car Show at the Stor-N-Lock, 10975 Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga from 10am - 2pm, the U S Marine Corps Reserve will be there asking for donations to their Toys For Tots toy drive. On Sun Dec 5th, on of the shows we wait all year for, the 13th Annual John Force Holiday Car Show from 10am - 4pm at the John Force Museum in Yorba Linda. Spectator admission is free with a new, $10 unwrapped toy benefiting the California Highway Patrols "CHiPs For Kids" toy drive. Meet top racecar drivers: John Force, Robert Hight, Ashley Force Hood, Brittany & Courtney Force, Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen, plus Genevieve Chappell "ESPNs Queen Of Cars", and Santa Claus. In concert will be Lil Mo & the Dynaflos. Some of the featured cars there will be a 1902 steamer fire truck & "Blaze", Jay Leno's 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7 liter, Python Water Car, Kenny Wayne Shepherd's 1969 Charger "Extreme Lee", plus Von Hot Rod's Pinstriping Circus. If you haven't been able to make it out to any shows this year I will strongly urge you to go to the John Force Holiday Show, I have been to it a couple of times and it is just amazing and seems to get bigger each year, and with John having just won the NHRA Finals in Pomona a couple of weeks ago this show could be really special. Now that we are starting to get everyone's holiday wishlists I'd just like to remind you that we have Speed Shop Gift Certificates available in any denomination you choose, they do make great stocking stuffers and are much easier to wrap than an exhaust system. So between shopping, turkey sandwiches and football games try and make it to one of these shows, and you never know that red head with the cute gloves could be me.
