Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are ready for the big day with food and family, and once we've all come out of our turkey comas we'll be looking for something to do. Here are some shows going on over this holiday weekend. On Sat Nov 27th Huffarama, the Bo Huff Cancer Treatment Fund, Cars, Music, Art, Pinups, Vendors Show from 11am - 11pm at the old Moss Ford Dealership, 1900 W Valley Blvd, Colton, off the 10 freeway at Pepper Ave. On Sat Nov 27th the 13th Annual Cruisin' La Verne for the holidays Car Show & Toy Drive in "Old-Town La Verne from 9am - 4pm. Bring a new unwrapped toy or sports equipment to donate to the Spark Of Love which will be distributed to the needy children of La Verne to make their Christmas a little brighter. Santa Claus will also be there to visit with all the boys and girls, so be sure and have your wish list ready. I personally recommend this show, I have gone to it for the last several years and it is a really fun time. On Sat Nov 27th Pomona Metro Cruise Night in Downtown Pomona 5pm - 10pm, with live music, food, and 50/50 raffle. On Sun Nov 28th Bob's Big Boy 3521 Hamner Ave, Norco presents their Christmas Car Show with Santa Claus 2pm - 5pm and asks for donations of gift items for needy seniors and foster care children. The show will also feature a hot Christmas buffet. We at THE SPEED SHOP would like to send out our congratulations to John Force on his 15th NHRA Funny Car Race Championship and his 8th Auto Club Dragway Championship...WAY TO SMOKE 'EM JOHN!!! So if you weren't able to make it out to the races on Nov 11th - Nov 14th you can check out some video from there on our YouTube channel, just click on the YouTube icon on our home page. This weekend is a little light on shows due to the holiday but these are some great ones to check out, so once the "black Friday" shopping is over plan to spend some family time out at a show. We will be closed Thanksgiving day and Friday for the holiday and would like to wish you and your families a safe and happy Thanksgiving full of good food and great company.
