  Hi Everyone,

Oh isn't this weather wonderful, just in time for the Memorial weekend, which I'm sure everyone knows is the (unofficial) start of summer. This is a big weekend for a lot of you, with trips to the beach or the mountains or the river, but there are some car shows going on as well. So if you don't have any plans for the weekend maybe you can take in one of these shows. May 29th-30th is the West Coast Kustoms Cruisin Nationals at Santa Maria Fairpark, the show is open to pre-1961 American made cars and will feature live music, tons of vendors and a model car show. Admission is $12 for Adults or $20 for a 2 day pass, Seniors 60 & over $6, Kids 10 & under Free, and Military Free with Military ID. Saturday May 29th is the Memorial Day Weekend Car Show at Quality Toyota of Corona, 1700 W 6th Street from 10am-2pm. This show will include music from the 50's, 60's and 70's as well as food, vendors and a BBQ. On Sat May 29th the Riverside Inland Empire Regional Chili Cook-off & Car/Cycle Show from 9:30am-5pm on Magnolia from Van Buren to Jackson in Arlington Village. Now if you're an expert chili taster they will hold the chili tasting between 11:30 - 2:30, the event will also have a craft fair, beer garden, entertainment and fun for the kids. On Sun May 30th the 45th Annual Fallbrook Vintage Car Show will be held at Potter Jr High School, 1743 Reche Rd, 92028 from 10am-2pm. And just to give a reminder, the 94th running of the Indianapolis 500 will be on Sun May 30th, the pre-race starts at 12 PST and the race starts at 1 PST, this is such a thrilling event, even if you don't sit and watch I'd recommend having it on in the background as you go through your day of fun, sun and BBQs. We here at THE SPEED SHOP would like to extend our gratitude to all past and present military men and women, thank you for your service to our great country; and to everyone have a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend!!!
