Hi Everyone,
Well it looks like we have a lot of events coming up so I'll get right to it; The Austin-Healey Assoc. presents Healey Week 2010 in Temecula May 19th - May 23, the "hub" for the event will be the Embassy Suites Hotel on Rancho California Rd in historic Old Town. The event will feature wine tours, dives in the local mountains, a car show, tech session, a luncheon and banquet dinner. Go to www.austin-healey.org for event schedules and updates. "Cruise at the Beach" is every Fri night until Oct 29th at Ruby's Diner at 245 N Harbor Dr, Redondo Beach from 4pm-8pm and with this great weather this would be a fun event to attend after a day in the sun at the beach. 2010 PSOA Car Show Series is May 22 - 23 at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana and the PSCA Racing & Street Challenge & Mustang Madness, gates open at 7am. The Extreme Motorsports Expo will be held May 21 - 23 at the OC Fair & Events Center in Costa Mesa, this show will feature the Best of the Sand & the Giants of Offroad. Living Word Assembly presents the 3rd Annual Car Show "Cruise For Christ" on Sat May 22nd from 10am-3pm at 11887 Telephone Ave, Chino, this flyer is featured on our Home page. The Chino Valley Professional Firefighters present the 1st Classic Car Show at The Shoppes in Chino Hills on Sat May 22nd from 8am-4pm. The show will feature Hot Rods, Bikes, Customs, Classics, and Vintage. Show will be held at the corner of Boys Republic Rd and Shoppes Rd. On Sat May 22nd is the 1st Annual Vantage Point Classic Car Show from 10am-2pm at River Heights Intermediate School, 7227 Cleveland Ave, Corona. California Cruisin' Benefit Car Show & Carnival will be Sat May 22nd at Venado Middle School in Irvine from 3pm-7pm. The 2010 SoCalAMX's 4th Annual "West Coast All AMC Car Show" on Sat May 22nd from 10am-3pm at Wally Parks Motorsports (NHRA) Museum in Pomona. This show will feature Javelins, Gremlins, Metropolitans, Ramblers, Marlins, Hornets, Pacers, and many more AMC vehicles. The 11th Annual Children's Hospital Toy Committee Car Show and Music Festival will be held on Sun May 23rd from 9am-4pm at the Pratt & Whitney Fitness Center at 8500 Fallbrook in West Hills and will feature live music, food & drinks, a giant silent auction, slot car races, and childrens activities. The Let Freedom Roar, Cruise to Liberty Station (look for the giant flag) at 2640 Decatur in San Diego on Sun May 23rd from 9am-2pm. Well I think I found something for everybody with this one, now you just have to choose which show to get out to. GOOD LUCK!!! The weather seems to have steadied out so that we can count on pretty comfortable days so I would suggest at least hitting one show, but even better you can plan a weekend around some of these locations. This is definitely my kind of weather so I think I will be heading out to a couple of these events...maybe I'll see you there.
