Hi Everyone,
We seem to be in full Spring swing - cool mornings, warm afternoons, and slightly brisk evenings - I think this is the perfect time of year, I hope you all are enjoying it, too. We have a light weekend coming up because of Easter, but here are a couple of things to do on Saturday before that cute little cotton-tailed guy hides those eggs.
On Saturday April 3rd at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana are the Street Legal Drags, gates open at 6am, it is $20 to race your own car and $10 to be a spectator; other dates for this event will be May 1st, June 5th, July 17th, Oct 30th and Dec 4th. Also on Saturday April 3rd is the Cool Cruise in Old Town La Verne, the events opening ceremonies will be at 10am and the show will run until 3pm ending with the awards ceremony.
The show will feature a motorcycle poker run, food and hot-rod vendors, and also included is the 3rd annual chili cook-off, there will also be live music performed by The Answer with Dave McClelland as M.C. for the day. Proceeds from this event will go to The Rebecca Goss "BOO_YAAH" Memorial Foundation and Steven's Hope For Children.
