  Hi Everyone,

So I'd just like to take this moment to again wish all of you Dads a Happy Father's Day, I hope you all get exactly what you want (and I don't mean another necktie). So let's start off with a save-the-date. The Beach Cities Mustang Club is holding their 14th Annual Mustangs at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on Sunday Sept 19th from 9am-3:30pm. And now for upcoming shows; on Sat June 26th is the Pickups Limited, Orange County Chapter will be holding their 28th Annual F-100 Western Nationals at the Canyon RV Park at Featherly Park just off the 91 freeway in Anaheim. This is the West Coast's largest Ford F-100 gathering of the year. On Sat June 26th is the 4th Annual San Gabriel Valley Boy Scout Car Show at Royal Oak Middle School in Covina from 9am -3pm, the show will include a Pinewood Derby Racing for scouts and car clubs, scout exhibits, and much more. There is a $15 entrant fee which includes an event T-Shirt, 2 meal tickets, 2 prize drawing tickets. Sat June 26th will be the 3rd Annual Summer Rumble Custom Car & Bike Show/Contest at 3717 San Fernando Rd, Glendale 91204. There will be live music all day by The Rocketz and Barrio Tiger, they will also have a beer garden, BBQ and "Miss Summer Rumble" Now this next show should be very interesting; on Sat June 26th will be the Fiberglass Day at the Peterson from 10am-3pm, in the parking structure at The Peterson Automotive Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles 90036. Guest of Honor will include; Bruce Meyers - Father of the Dune Buggy and Harold Pace - automobile journalist and author of several books on kits, specialty and race cars. The '50's Flashback Bash & Classic Car Show will be held on Sat June 26th from 10am-2pm at 27600 Encanto Dr in Sun City 92586 and will include '50's music from Sounds Divine, vendors, contests & games, and raffles. Now this next show sounds like it will be a really unique experience and should be fun for the whole family. On Sat June 26th the 6th Annual Rock 'N Roll Car Show at the Rock-ola Jukebox Factory, 2335 208th St, Torrence 90501 from 10am-2pm. The show is open to all makes and models of American made antiques, customs, race, classic and modern muscle, hot rod, street rods, and under construction. Take a tour of the factory, which has been manufacturing jukeboxes since 1935, and enter to win a real Rock-ola Jukebox. On Sat evening June 26th the Battle of the Rides Custom Car & Motorcycle Show from 4pm-10pm at 22500 Soledad Canyon Rd, Saugus 91350. There will be over 200 customs, muscle cars, street racers, exotics, choppers and more, and the show will also include live music and interactive activities. Now on Sun June 27th the 34th Annual Forty Ford Day at La Palma Park in Anaheim from 9am-3pm. The show will include DJ music, a giant raffle, a bake sale and food & drinks. Also on Sun June 27th the Rancho Cucamonga Firefighters present the 13th Annual Benefit "Around the Lake" Car Show at Red Hill Community Park on the corner of Baseline Rd and Vineyard Ave from 9am-2pm, all proceeds benefit local burn survivors. The show will feature raffles, vendors, music, food and fire apparatus. I'd also like to remind everyone that we are happy to promote local car clubs on our website, so if you are involved in a club and want to have it promoted and have us list your upcoming events please contact me and I'll get your info and get you out there. Also a special note to all of our boat customers; we are in boat season and I would appreciate your help in getting boat races and boating events out to all of our customers so if you know of events coming up please contact me with the info and I'll be sure to blast it out to everyone. Well I hope you can make it out to one (or more) of these great shows this weekend, and you never know, I just might see you out there.
