  Hi Everyone,

So here it is, "June Gloom", it's hot - it's cold - it sprinkles - it's windy - it's CRAZY!! So let's look towards the weekend and hope it is a good one, and let's treat Dad to a fun afternoon at one of these great shows. First off let's do a save-the-date for Saturday June 26th, the 4th Annual San Gabriel Valley Boy Scouts Car Show at Royal Oak Middle School in Covina from 9am-3pm; my son was a boy scout so I think this is a great organization and they are celebrating 100 years of scouting. Now if you're in the mood for a beautiful drive The weekend of June 18th - 20th is the 25th Annual Classic in Pismo Beach. On Fri June 18th the day starts with a pancake breakfast from 7am-11am, and the show will run 9am-10pm with a charity poker tournament that starts at 5:30pm with a buy-in of $50. Live entertainment from 8:30pm-11:30pm provided by "Mean Gene & The Portable Johns". There will be a large vendor area set up in the pier parking lot with food, arts & crafts, clothes, and specialty items. On Sat June 19th the day will start again with a pancake breakfast from 7am-11pm, and the show will run 9am-10pm with the Official Classic at Pismo Beach Cruising Pismo from 6pm-8pm. The vendor are will be in the parking lot at the pier as well as along the street and a live charity auction will be held at 2pm to benefit the veterans. Live music performed by "The Mark Burns Band" from 7pm-11pm. And Sun June 20th, the last day, will begin with a pancake breakfast from 7am-11pm and a show and shine car show from 8am-5pm, the vendors area will be in the pier parking lot and music entertainment will be "Fighting Chance" from 2pm-5pm. I'd like to highly recommend the So Cal Speed Shop Open House held on Fri June 18th at 1357 E Grand Ave in Pomona from 3pm-7pm, I have personally been to this show and it is awesome, you can view a slide show from last year on our website. The cars are incredible, the staff is very friendly and knowlegdable and the atmosphere is great. Now a great Father's Day outting would be to take dad to the 46th Annual L A Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona on June 19th and 20th. Heralded "The Greatest Roadster Show On Earth" the show will include a "35 & "36 Hot Rod Corral, on Sat from 10am-2pm will be the Cacklefest, a builders showcase, and a pin stripers circus. On Sat June 19th is the Thunder in the House Motorcycle Ride & Music Festival at the Chino Fairgrounds, 5410 Edison Ave, 91710 from 11am-5pm to benefit physical rehab services for our national heroes. The show includes a car & bike show, BBQ and beer garden, bike games and live entertainment from "Reno Jones". Now this show might be worth checking out if you are interested in learning automotive mechanics; on Sat June 19th the UTI Annual Car Show & Open House from 10am-2pm at 9494 Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, and will include a campus tour, live Dyno runs, spark plug challenge and an inflatable jumper for the kids. And on Sun June 20th, Fathers Day, you might just want to spoil your Dad alittle by taking him to the 2010 Rodeo Dr Concours D' Elegance: Celebrates A Different Road sponsored by Jaguar. Entries include Classic Cars 1925 - 1948, Pre-1975 American Muscle Cars, Sports Cars, European Cars, Woodys, Hot Rods, Customs, Race Cars, Vintage Motorcycles, and Special Interest Vehicles.
