Hi Everyone,
I hope your Thanksgiving was a great one and about now we all should be coming out of our turkey comas from all of the leftovers, so here we go into the home stretch of 2009, let's end this year on a high note! I have found that December is alittle light for shows but I'll give you what I've got and if I locate more I'll update you.
On Saturday Dec 5th is the 11th Annual Christmas on Euclid Show, Shine & Shop event from 9:00am - 2:00pm (if it rains the show will be postponed to 12/12), the show is along Euclid in downtown Ontario and is a great holiday event. The show is open to all Muscle cars, Street Rods, Classics, Antiques and Special Interest cars, there will be plenty of food, fun and lots of vendors for holiday shopping.
On Sunday Dec 6th is the huge John Force Holiday Car Show and Toy Drive to benefit the California Highway Patrol's "CHiP's For Kids". The show is 10:00am - 4:00pm at the John Force RaceStation, 22722 Old Canal Road, Yorba Linda 92887. The entire Force faimly will be there along with Top NHRA Drivers: Ashley Force-Hood, Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen, Jack Beckman, and others, ESPN's "Queen of Cars" and Santa Claus, there will also be live music throughout the day from The Answer and others.
This is an event to remember, if you've not gone to this show in the past you need to make it a point to attend, there will be many exotic and on-of-a-kind automobiles including Jay Leno's 1955 Buick Roadster, and on a personal note, we went to this show last year and Jay Leno himself was there and the year before Pamela Anderson was among the people attending, so you never know who you'll bump into at this show.
Well, that's all I've got for now, but if any of you know of an event this month please email me with the details and I'll pass it along to everyone. We at THE SPEED SHOP would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your business and your friendship throughout 2009 and look forward to all the possiblities that 2010 will bring to us and wish much joy and success to you all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
