Hi Everyone,
I hope you all survived "Black Friday" and were able to make a dent in your holiday list. So if you find that you have some free time this coming weekend here's some shows to try and make it out to. Just a reminder about the HUGE John Force Holiday Car Show this Sun Dec 5th from 10 am - 4pm, it's the 13th annual and it's one of the best shows held throughout the year. It's held at the John Force Museum in Yorba Linda and they partner with the California Highway Patrol and their CHiPs For Kids Toy Drive, so bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 and get into the show for FREE. On Sat Dec 11th and Sun Dec 12th is the American Muscle Showdown at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, this is the 1st All-American Car Lifestyle Event and is open to all American Cars & Trucks (no year cut-off). The event will include an Audio Challenge, Burn Out Contest, Lowrider Competition, Drifting Exhibitions, Revving Contest, Bikini Contest, and much, much more. The hours will be Sat 12pm - 10pm and Sun 10am - 8pm with an awards ceremony starting Sun at 6pm. Admission is Spectator 1 Day $20 and Spectator 2 Day $30, with Military 1/2 price (with valid ID), Kids 7 - 12 $5 and under 6 are FREE. Sat Dec 11th is the Mooneyes Xmas Party 2010 Show & Drag at the Toyota Speedway, 500 Speedway Dr, Irwindale, 91706, gates open at 6am. The party will feature Hot Rods, Customs, Choppers & More, a 1/8 mile drags (pre-1969 only), art auction & live pinstippind demo, pinup girl contest and live bands. On Sat Dec 11th Ruby's Diner in Redondo Beach will hold their 13th Annual "Cruise at the Beach Christmas Car Show" from 9am - 3pm, plase bring an unwrapped toy to benefit Cheer for Children Christmas Toy Drive. Sat Dec 11th is the Toys For Tots Car Show at Pat & Oscar's at 690 E Hospitality Ln, San Bernardino from 2pm - 6pm. On Sun Dec12th the 25th Annual Street Masters Christmas Cruise for the Kids at Torrey Pines High School, 3710 Del Mar Heights Rd, Del Mar from 8am - 2pm. The show is open to ALL makes - models - years and is to benefit the YMCA Youth and Family Services, so please bring a new, unwrapped toy. They will be having a free pancake breakfast, a poker walk, games, live auction and custom art. On Sun Dec 12th the Gangs To Grace Car Club will be holding a Toy Drive Car Show benefiting the children of the Navajo Nation, at the Southern California Dream Center, 1024 E Phillips Blvd, Pomona from 3pm - 8pm. So if you are planning a day out shopping or have finished and are looking for something to do, try and make it out to a show, and be sure to bring a toy since many show include a toy drive so we can be sure every child wakes up on Christmas morning with a present.
