Hi Everyone,
Well can you believe it, I just heard the other day that some kids will be back in school this coming week, WOW where has this year gone?!! And this time next month the L A County Fair will be starting, I guess the old saying is right, "Time Flies When You're Having Fun". This coming week seems to be a little light for shows but I think I found some fun ones for you to consider. On Sat Aug 14th The Whittier Uptown Assoc presents The 10th Annual Uptown Car Show in Historic Uptown Whittier from 9am-7pm and the show will feature 2 stages with live entertainment, raffles, and a BBQ cook off starting at 4pm. Also on Sat Aug 14th The Southern California Cadillac & LaSalle Club will hold their Regional National Car Show at Ruby's on the Beach at 245 N Harbor Dr in Redondo Beach from 10am-2pm. On Sun Aug 15th The Charger Steve's Wild Rides & Classic Car Showdown in Pacific Beach, and the show will include an Engine Blow Up, Hollywood Tans will be holding a bikini contest and they will also feature a Burlesque Show. You will also be able to see, up close, some of Charger Steve's Starz Carz, like The General Lee from The Dukes Of Hazzard, Back To The Future, Herbie The Love Bug, and the Batmobile. Also on Sun Aug 15th The 13th Annual Summer Stampede Car Show at Mayfair Park, 5720 Clark Ave in Lakewood (corner of South St & Clark Ave) and the show will include food and entertainment. And as always if you have or are involved in an upcoming event please email me with the info and I'll be sure to get it out to everyone, and if you also have fliers please contact me for our address so we can get those to our customers who visit our location. We also have an entire section of our website dedicated to CAR CLUBS and we'd love to be able to get your clubs info out to people who are looking to join a club, so just email me and I'll let you know the info that we'll need to get you posted.
