Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a great Memorial weekend!!! And so now here we are in the beautiful month of June. The weather is really starting to heat up, we've got graduations going on all over and we can't forget that we get to honor DAD this month. So here's a shout out to my Dad, I LOVE YA!!!!!!!! And the offical start of Summer begins on June 21st, the Summer Solstice.
With all of this going on we also have a lot of car shows this month, let's take a look at what's coming up... On Wednesday June 3 is this months Twilight Cruise Night at the NHRA Museum in Pomona from 3pm-7pm. This is a free event, and the museum extends their hours until 8pm on this evening with $5 admission after 5pm. for a listing of their monthly cruise nights and special events you can go to their website at www.museum.nhra.com/apcm/templates/cruises
On Saturday June 6 is the Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show in support of Boys Republic, a school dedicated to troubled teens. This years theme is "On Any Sunday" and will feature special touches based on the classic film. For more info on this event visit their web page at www.stevemcqueencarshow.com
On Saturday June 6 in Downtown Ontario is the 21st Annual Inland Valley Street Rods Rally & Cruise from 7am-4pm. This is an awesome show and will feature hundreds of the coolest hot rods around and live Rock & Roll music performed by Duane and the Deuces. Don't miss this GREAT show!!!! On Saturday June 13 come on out to the Canyon RV Park at 24001 Santa Ana Canyon Rd in Anaheim for the 33rd F100 Western Nationals from 6am-4pm. The OC Chapter of Pickups Limited presents this show each year and it's the largest Classic Ford Truck show on the West Coast. Now if you're looking for something to for Dad over Fathers Day weekend then I've got the show for you. On Saturday & Sunday June 20 and 21 is the 51st L. A. Roadster Show & Swap 2015, known as the Greatest Roadster Show on Earth at the Fairplex in Pomona from 7am-4pm. For all the details about this 2 day event go to their website at www.laroadsters.com
On Sunday June 28 is the Cawabunga Cruise & Vanstock Show at the Norco Bob's Big Boy from 4pm-7pm. If you'd like information on how to participate in on of their monthly car shows you can contact Charyle via email at trollady10@aol.com Also on Saturday June 28 is the 39th Annual Forty Ford Days at La Palma Park in Anaheim from 7am-3pm. This show is open to all Pre-1972 makes and models and will aslo feature a giant bake sale & BBQ, DJ playing great Oldies all day and tons of raffle prizes. For details on this show come by our location and pick up one of their flyers.
Here's my "Save-the-Date" for this month... On Sunday October 11 Rhodeshow Productions will hold the 40th Anniversary Kick Back In Kernville River Run sponsored by Kern Valley Airport located at 10649 Sierra Way in Kernville from 6am-2pm. The River Run will be held October 9-10 and the Automotive and Motorcycle Swap Meet will be on October 11. For a complete event schedule as well as local places to stay come by and opick up a flyer.
