Welcome to March everyone, it looks like we're finally coming out of Winter and Spring is in sight!!!! One friendly reminder for you, on Sunday March 8 Daylight Savings time begins so don't forget to SPRING FORWARD. And let us not forget one of my favorite days....St Patrick's Day on March 17. The one day of the year that it's OK for me to say "Kiss Me I'm Irish". Some of you may remember in the past I've done a special Luck O' The Irish promotion here and I'll be running it again this year, so when you visit our location ask me and I'll have all the details for you. Now let's jump right in and take a look at what shows are happening in March and Ive got a great "save-the-date" for you.
Thankx to Bob Nichols I know about this event. On Saturday March 14 9am-5pm and Sunday March 15 9am-4pm is the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals at the Fairplex in Pomona. This event will feature HOTCHKIS Autocross where you can watch cars speed through a timed course, if you like the smell of smoking tires and burning rubber don't miss the Burnout contest, Preformance Midway where industry leaders will have their products and services on display, the Dyno Challenge where you can see guys testing their torque and horsepower, and live music all day on the main stage. On Saturday March 28 is the 13th Annual Corn Feed Run Car Show and Cruise at 13220 Central Ave in Olde Towne Chino from 8am-3pm. The open header contest runs from 1-2 and I strongly suggest bringing ear plugs cuz those babys are LOUD. The show is open to all Pre-1975 Cars, Motorcycles and Working Show Trucks and there will be music, food and drawings throughout the day. On Sunday March 29 is the Spring Vacation Car Show at the Bob's Big Boy at 3521 Hamner Ave in Norco from 2pm-5pm. This is a great family show filled with cool tunes...hot cars...and awesome food!!! If you are interested in participating in this show contact Charyle at firstname.lastname@example.org
Now I'd like to give you a couple of "save-the-date" shows happening in the next few months.
On Sunday April 26 The Pomona Catholic Booster Club will be hosting the 14th Annual Car Show and Craft Fair fundraiser at Pomona Catholic High School at 533 West Holt Ave in Pomona 91768.
On Saturday May 16 is the 9th Annual Tractor and Car Show & Strawberry Festival at Cal Poly Farm Store in Pomona from 10am-4pm. This is a family event wich includes a petting zoo, a bug fair, live music, tractor rides and all the yummy strawberries you can eat. On Saturday June 6 is the 21st Annual Inland Valley Street Rods Rally & Cruise in downtown Ontario from 7am-4pm. This show will feature all day cruising, a Pinewood Derby and drawings throughout the day. Live music will be provided by Duane and The Deuces. The show is open to any year Harley-Davidson motorcycles, all years Muscle, Antique, Street Rods, Classics, and Trucks.
